FORMAT: Quadrat<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stofftaschent\u00fccher meines Vaters im \u201erichtigen\u201c Format zu b\u00fcgeln und zu falten, entpuppte sich f\u00fcr mich ca.6-J\u00e4hrige zu einer gro\u00dfen Herausforderung.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend meiner ersten B\u00fcgelbem\u00fchungen lag immer ein tadellos gefaltetes Taschentuch meines Vaters als Faltanleitung und Gr\u00f6\u00dfenreferenz neben mir.<\/p>\n

Alle gefalteten Quadrate sollten m\u00f6glichst die gleiche Gr\u00f6\u00dfe aufweisen.<\/p>\n

Das bedeutete diese frisch duftenden Fl\u00e4chen zu B\u00fcgeln \u2013 nicht genau in der Mitte zu falten; B\u00fcgeln \u2013 bis knapp zur Mitte falten; B\u00fcgeln \u2013 weit weg von der Mitte falten; B\u00fcgeln \u2013 in der Mitte falten; B\u00fcgeln\u2026.<\/p>\n

Selten gelang mir ein tadellos quadratisch gefaltetes Taschentuch.<\/p>\n

Durch dieses wundervolle Taschentuchprojekt entstanden Freir\u00e4ume f\u00fcr Erinnerungen, Gedanken, textile Bearbeitung und \u2026<\/p>\n

Ironing and folding my father’s handkerchiefs in the „right“ format turned out to be a great challenge for me at the age of nearly 6.<\/p>\n

During my first ironing efforts there was always a perfectly folded handkerchief of my father next to me as a folding instruction and size reference.<\/p>\n

All folded squares should have the same size if possible.<\/p>\n

This meant folding these freshly smelling surfaces to iron – not folding exactly in the middle; ironing – folding to just about the middle; ironing – folding far away from the middle; ironing – folding in the middle; ironing…<\/p>\n

Rarely have I succeeded in folding a perfectly square handkerchief.<\/p>\n

This wonderful handkerchief project created free spaces for memories, thoughts, textile processing and …<\/p>\n
